Tough one to get right this - a lot of us rightly calling out the fact we look like strangers on the pitch, lack of cohesion and understanding etc.

But rumours of another much changed starting XI - now if it’s the likes of Snodgrass and Antonio getting the chop you can understand it, but we need to start bedding an XI in as well.

I know Tex is old, but I'm surprised he's stuck in the era of 2-3-5 formations.

no, not at all. we have owners who are tied to certain advisors/agents that suggest signings. its not my theory, pearce brought it up on the recent debate show appearance with bellamy. as pearce said, that's a recipe for disaster

Our midfield is fucking shit, Bellemy is correct we spent the money on the wrong players

I think most of you are clutching at straws re the reason why we are where we are

If anyone looked at the Wolves perforrmance you will see all of our problems encapsulated in 1 game

We play like strangers, like we just met, there is no cohesion, no pattern, no fundamentals to our game

If today is the same id sack Pellegrini on the spot

We need the basics in our training, in our tactics

If we have no learned since the Wolves debacle its never going to change under this regime with these players

Re: WHU team Vs Everton ?
Bellamy pointing out that West Ham recruitment did not address the lack of pace centrally

Also the suggestion is that the recruiting was still Sullivan picks

We may well need Moyes and team back to keep us up. :-(

Yes...I suspect that is one of the contributing factors

Takashi Miike 2:29 Sun Sep 16
Re: WHU team Vs Everton ?
the reason for that is probably none of silkman's contacts had any of those type of player

Re: WHU team Vs Everton ?
It doesn't matter what formation we play the fact that the first priority in the summer wasn't a top quality defensive midfielder or even 2 is why the team are in the mess they have are in now and for the past 2 seasons...it was the GLARING weakness in the team...

Why nobody picked up on it remains a complete embarrassment

Disagree...
If we'd put away our early chsnces...completely different games and results..vs Wolves...Bournemouth...possibly a few vs Arse

Dr Moose 2:20 Sun Sep 16
Re: WHU team Vs Everton ?
defence is not the issue when they are overran in midfield, sides are waltzing past our championship quality midfielder (Noble) and are breezing past Wheelchair.

The GINGER JOCK is in the Sky pundits studio for the match.

Perhaps he will see where Pellegrini is going wrong.

Re: WHU team Vs Everton ?
Strikers are not the problem, GETTING the ball to the strikers is the problem, in other words, the midfield is shit, I think the defence is coming around with Balbuena and Diop looking good

Re: WHU team Vs Everton ?
4-7 points? Tex you’re an idiot.
Worst defence last season
Worst this season
Don’t take a genius to identify the problem.

Re: WHU team Vs Everton ?
our problems are quite far away from having good strikers.
we lack agility, stamina and brains in midfield.

Texas Iron 1:04 Sun Sep 16
Re: WHU team Vs Everton ?
Indeed I do...
Seen all 4 live...poor displays all round...
With good strikers we'd have had at least 4-7 points by now...possibly 9...
We were in with a chance of 3 points in every game except Pool...
